Load transportation and delivery to countries from Asia

Load transportation in Asia- this is an excellent opportunity for the distribution of goods, and, in the first place, it’s a possibility to import goods in Moldova, Rusia, CIS countries and Europe. It is well-known that Turkey, China, the countries from the Central Asia, Japan, ant others provide a wide range of goods in our region and to the West.

Asia is the greatest supplier of clothes, fruit, textiles, and goods of national consumption, industrial goods, equipment, as well as liquid, inflammable and other dangerous cargo. In this sense, the function of the shipping and transportation companies is like an artery that maintains an uninterrupted commodity circulation between Asia and the rest of the world.

The first distinctive feature of freight transportation from oriental countries is the diversity of directions. In the case of the transportation in the European countries, everything is much easier: the direction is divided according to the geographical indication – to the Eastern, Central or Western Europe, or according to the social and political aspect: for the European Union and for the countries with a less developed economy – firstly the Balkans.  
In the case of the oriental direction, everything is much more difficult and diverse.When speaking about the geographical area occupied by the given part of the world, only the sense of the service “cargo transportation in Asia” includes the transportation and cargo delivery in Turkey, the transportation in the Middle East, the transportation and delivery in Uzbekistan, Tadjikistan, Kazakhstan, Central Asia (that belongs to the transportation category through CIS countries), the transportations in China, in the Far East and the delivery of the goods from or to Japan and South-Eastern Asia.

It is obvious that, for all the oriental transportation area there are no determined conditions for the transportation of the goods, that means that every country has its peculiarities of passing the customs procedures, the transit through the country and other transboundary barriers.

There is no doubt that we can outline a certain regress of development in the transportation policy in the Oriental countries. For example, few countries have accepted the international agreements concerning the transit, even if some of them dispose of considerable cargo traffic and have a significant transit potential. The main “transportation” problems of the Oriental countries like those of many CIS countries, in principle, that can be attributed to the states with the transitional economy, are the domestic rules on cargo traffic that change frequently because of the lack of a clearly built transportation policy for all the types of transportation: car, sea, railway transport, and also because of a weakly developed infrastructure.

The colossal transportation potential of Asia will show itself according to its maximal possibilities. Let’s take only China – it is the third country in the world according to goods turnover, it represents an excellent indicator of increasing the amount of cargo traffic in Russia, European Union and the United States. We can expect the optimization of cargo traffic organization from the widening planned for China, Iran, India and other oriental countried of TIR international system, fact that will constitute a great plus for the carriers and shipping companies. At the moment, TIR convention is applied only in Turkey, Israel, Iran, CIS countries and it has effects in Indonesia and South Korea, too.

Another indicator of the active work on the transportation market in Asia is the transportation corridors elaborated by the countries from the European and oriental areas or the basic trade itineraries like TРACEКA (Kazakhstan Republic Transportation Strategy) and North-South. TРACEКA is the sole project of the euroasiatic transportation corridor on the West-Eastern direction from Europe, crossing the Black Sea, Caucasus and the Caspic Sea, waying out in the Central Asia. It offers the opportunity for the countries that participate at the project (Moldova, too) to develop their transportation and communication nets. The North-South corridor is an alternative project and a prioritary one for Russia, in the first place, as it unites the Baltic Sea cost with Iran, for the subsequent entry to Europe.

  Asia is a rather attractive market for goods transportation and distribution and it is an irreplaceable supplier of many services, that’s why we should work in this direction. If the transportation conditions are improved in the Oriental countries, the demand and offer of the cargo owners and of the shipping companies will grow respectively.

Asia’s territory is so huge, that it’s often necessary to enable all possible types of cargo carriage: by car, train, sea transportation, etc.  For example, to transport goods from Turkey, the greatest exporter of clothes, fruit and other goods in Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, you can use only the motor transport. But, in case of longer distances, you cant’ avoid using other types of transportation, too. To deliver goods from China, it’s convenient to organize railway transportation, from Japan - to use multimodal transportation. As well, fom far countries like those of the Far East, it will be better to use the transportation service for assorted lading; it will save money, especially if the consignment is not a big one. 

In toto, there is a lot of work in Asia for the development of a full-fledged transportation net; it is necessary to develop new itineraries for the transcontinental traffic between Asia and Europe. However, even in the actual conditions, which are not the most optimal ones, we can work and we need to work, and this fact has been realized by our transportation company for many years.
